Professor of Gastroenterology at SGPGI Campus, Lucknow, India, the Founder and Secretary General of the Asian Neurogastroenterology and Indian Motility Associations. He also serves on the editorial boards of several prominent gastroenterology journals and has received numerous awards for his contributions to the field. 

His primary areas of expertise include gastrointestinal pathophysiology and motility disorders. Dr. Ghoshal is well-regarded for his significant contributions to the research and treatment of digestive health issues, blending extensive clinical practice with innovative research. He has authored over 240 papers and is involved in various international gastroenterology committees, including the Rome Foundation.
